I expect you to know what I want
And I dont think you expect anything at all
See the human heart tells us to expect greatness
Live with the feeling of knowing
That what is unknown is known and not said
But is it wrong for me to expect more
Trusting there will be a better day
Expect you to know what I want
Expecting you to have the decency
To move past immaturity and grant me with the honesty of ya thoughts
Yet I still don't know how or what to feel or whyI'm upset
Because apparently this is you your personality and ya swag and unbelievably for the first time I cant read another being that is not I
It is as if we're two different notes seeking to mesh and create harmony
And as the world seems fond of me to you I'm just like the rest
So it's like the more I expect of you you just seem to expect less
Tainted by what the world has made of you
But then again it's just you being you so why expect more......
